Please think of the children. That is if you are in Paris around Christmas and into window displays, it is mandatory that you bring your little one to the Galeries Lafayette (Boulevard Haussmann, just behind the Opéra).
If they still do it (it's been four years since I last spent Christmas in Paris but it's like a tradition so why wouldn't they) you should find a mix of old fashion toys, puppets and animatronics. Honestly, go there and enjoy.
Hum, looking at the picture closely it looks like you were there already (Printemps... which is across the Galeries Lafayettes), so please feel free to ignore my comment. :-)
