As I write this, we are waiting for the taxi to come pick us up and take us to the airport. We're about to begin our 10-day, California vacation. The first few days will be spent in Pacific Grove, with trips to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (where I spent many summers as a teenager). The following week we'll be at USCB Family Vacation Center or, as we call it, Family Camp.
I'll be blogging as we go, doing the kind of writing I enjoy the most — travel writing. That is, after all, how this blog got started.
So stay tuned. There'll be lots of photos, reviews, and stories to come.
