The start of summer
Weaving daisies into Daddy's hat at the farmer's market.
It's been a loong time since I last posted. I didn't realize the connection to the weather, but as soon as the sun came out again, so did my camera.
All these shots are from this weekend. The sun finally emerged from its hiatus, and Portland was glorious. There was much playground time, as well as an expedition to “Antarctica” (inspired by the Magic Treehouse books, which we are deep into), a trip to the farmer's market, the requisite lemonade stand, and some excellent grilling.
And as a special bonus, Little Bit decided that after 5 years, she was finally willing to sit on Anna's lap!
Today the sun is pretending none of this ever happened, but I have my photos as proof.
Riding the magic lizard to Antarctica (duh)!
Going down the slide backwards.
Random hippie signs of summer!
And then they graced Anna with their daisy chain.
They made a killing!
Street corner bubbles.
Dinner.

Great photos! And, speaking of the "strong" part: have you ever tried kettlebells? I've just discovered them.
NICE! Happy to see you blog.
Looks like a perfect weekend!
